growing gratitude

.:Beauty and simplicity surround us all the time and are things that I try to embrace as often as I can slow down to see. Every Monday I will post…a “growing gratitude” post. Basking in our own state of gratitude as well as the gratitude of others always seems uplifting to me. Plus, I always love a good positive start to the beginning of each week. I will put a Mr. Linky at the end of each week’s post in hopes that some of you may want to join in this mindfulness journey with me. You can formulate your own posts however you want to…lots of pictures, or none; lots of thoughts, or maybe just one profound one. The main gist is to share whatever you are feeling grateful for in your life…right now; here and now; in the present. I’ve included a button as well, so if you’re interested, you can grab a button and link back to each week’s post. So let’s begin, shall we?:.

Right now, I AM…

…feeling refreshed after sleeping in WAY late.

…loving the connective energy I got to bathe in this weekend. With friends, with my parents, with my sisters, with my oldest. Every bit of it was so nice.

…happy to be home and having no plans to go anywhere anytime soon.

…grateful for the generosity of others out there. It just blows me away sometimes.

…appreciating surprise packages that come at just the right moment to redirect a brotherly brawl.

…thinking the curvy board is just about one of the most creative toys ever!

…noticing a slight slight shift in the season. How oh how is it August already?!

…hoping to get in all of our fall/overwintering crops this week.

…anticipating the newest one’s arrival…and when and how and all that jazz…the kinda stuff you won’t know till it happens.

Right now, what are you grateful for?

  1. This design is steller! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own
blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to
say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!

  3. Whitney says:

Like others have mentioned, I am so excited to see pictures of your new little one and to hear have everything goes. You have been in my thoughts lately. It is so interesting how blogs can make us feel so connected to someone who have never actually met. :)

  4. Have a great week Lisa. All the best for the birth. xxoo

    • Lisa says:

I kinda wonder about that at times…if people know to click the post to actually read it. I like the way there are the main photos displayed and less words, but I can see how it might be confusing. I’m glad you stopped by though!

      :) Lisa

There is a wooden yoga back ending bench for adults!

  7. Susan says:

Do they make curvy boards for adults:-D My back feels better just looking at it!! Thank you for reminding us to take time to count what is important; can’t wait to see the newest addition to the family–are you keeping up with Kandyce! XOXO

    • Lisa says:

I know…this will be #5, but now…I think we are officially done. For some reason ever since I was little the number 5 has always stuck with me. AND 7 is a good magical number too…for the whole of us.

      :) Lisa

  8. Jane says:

Loved loved loved my time with you this weekend. You are one sexy pregnant lady! I love you to pieces and can’t wait to meet our new little friend ;0) Felt so rejuvenated and in touch after being with you girls. It was a yummy day on so many levels!

  9. Becki says:

Thanks for doing this! I do a gratitude post each week too, and it helps me to focus on what’s important.

I love that curvy board! I could just see my one year old standing on it though and falling off. Maybe in a few years it will be safe for us to get one. LOL
