in gratitude

www.hullabaloohomestead.com…for visits with friends.

…for my mother, and grandmother, and all mothers that walked before me and those who walk with me.

www.hullabaloohomestead.com…for time spent alone in the woods and talking to the trees.

…for blue skies and warm days.

www.hullabaloohomestead.com…for this pear tree and it’s blossoms and all of it’s beauty.

…for bedtime mother’s day firework shows and kids dancing with sparklers.

www.hullabaloohomestead.com…for a delicious dinner of pulled pork spareribs with coffee molasses barbeque sauce, roasted butternut squash with maple sage brown butter, and a side of freshly picked asparagus followed by one of Heather’s yummy raw pies, a raw chocolate torte topped with a cherry sauce.

…realizing there might be such a thing as too much chocolate and a need for smaller pieces of aforementioned pie, although I’m not sure.

www.hullabaloohomestead.com…for chubby baby toes, and fingers, and chubby babies in general, but particularly mine.

…for the first grass cutting of the season.
